Carla Wright has over 20 years of experience in the HIV/AIDS field. Born and raised in Oakland, California, Carla has worked as a certified medical case manager, ADAP enrollment specialist, Covered California enrollment specialist, and HIV test counselor. She also served on the Collaborative Community Planning Council, which manages HIV funding in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, with WORLD’s longtime executive director, Cynthia Carey-Grant. Before her position as the Outreach & Linkage Team Leader, Carla worked as WORLD’s PrEP Navigator & Case Manager. She is passionate about utilizing her experience and skills to provide care for women in need, their partners, and their communities.
