On January 21st, women all over the nation will be coming together to show a united front to the new Trump Administration and show them that we are watching. We stand together in solidarity for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families — recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.
Join WORLD as we participate in the local march in Oakland to make sure that women living with HIV are represented at the march!
Location: Meet at the corner of Jackson and 10th St in Chinatown
Time: 9:30AM and we can walk down the street to the starting point of the march. March starts at 10AM.
Please wear your WORLD shirts or a plain white T-Shirt. If you don’t have a WORLD shirt, please ask Casey for one.
If you need a ride, please contact Ivy no later than January 18th to be added to the list. There will be no daycare provided but this is a family-friendly march so please feel free to bring your children along.
To RSVP, please ask to see Ivy or let your Peer know.
