November 2nd, 2010 is Election Day!
Almost one-quarter of Americans eligible to vote are not registered. Unregistered Americans tend to be low income, people of color, young people, recent U.S. citizens, formerly incarcerated individuals, and those who have recently moved to a new address. In addition, communities with low voting rates – including people of color and low-income communities – are also disproportionately affected by HIV. Sound like anyone you know?
Make your vote count by registering to vote, spreading the word in your community, learning your candidates issues, and heading to the polls on election day!
