Interim Executive Director

Ingrid Floyd, M.B.A., became the Interim Executive Director of Women Organized to Respond to Life Threatening Diseases (WORLD) in 2020. During her tenure with WORLD Ms. Floyd has stabilized and expanded the agency’s funding including a recent HRSA grant focused on building a community workforce to increase vaccinations amongst African Americans and Latinos. Ms. Floyd has also grown the WORLD staff over 300% during her tenure. Ms. Floyd is a member of Black Agency Executives, is a past chair of the governance committee of the NJ HIV/AIDS Planning Group, which she remains an active member. Ms. Floyd earned her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 and a Double Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Professional Mathematics from South Carolina State University in 1997. She also earned a Certificate in Executive Leadership for Nonprofits from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work and completed the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Executive Program at the Anderson School of Business.
