Better Living: is an interactive women’s empowerment workshop focused on developing skills to help live better and reduce stress. Decision making and problem solving skills are taught to help participants make informed and safe decisions about disclosure and behavior. Sessions are for self-identified positive women. Cupcakes & Condoms: The Red Pump Project presents a FREE event bringing women and girls together for an afternoon of complimentary desserts while engaging in dialogue designed to foster healthy intimate relationships and promote positive choices to aid in the prevention of HIV and STIs.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a passionate panel of female activists, advocates and experts who will discuss HIV, stigma and other issues surrounding the epidemic. It’s a “healthy love” party so grab your girlfriend, your red pumps (flats) and bring your sweet tooth, open mind and get ready for an interesting afternoon! Teens are welcome to attend!

National Night Out: WORLD will be tabling with CAL-PEP and EBALDC for this year’s event. National Night out is America’s night out and a time for neighbors to get together to have a block party, ice cream social, potluck, or other event to build neighborhood spirit and unity. Come meet WORLD’s outreach peers to learn more about our programs and services in your neighborhood!
