Over the past several months, WORLD has trained and mentored a talented group of women from our community to participate in a Participatory Action Research (PAR) project that aims to identify gaps in health care services for women living in Alameda County.  Community Researchers Engaging Women (CREW) is meant to empower participants and show how they can effect change. Their findings around the Affordable Care Act, gaps in health care services, recommendations, and next steps will be presented at our all day convening alongside our expert panel on Advocacy, Policy, Research, ASO’s, and Providers.Learn about the ACA and the changing landscape, barriers to service, barriers to protection and needed support.
