With heavy hearts, the WORLD staff wants to extend our love and condolences to the victims of Sunday’s shooting in Orlando, FL as well as their families and communities. We want to acknowledge and celebrate that Pulse, the nightclub which was attacked, was founded to honor the owner’s brother, who died due to AIDS in 1991, and to support the local LGBTQ community.
This is a time for solidarity. For reflection. For compassion. And for action. To Pulse, to Orlando, and to every community impacted by this massacre: You are not alone.
